Another Semester Underway

Another Semester Underway
While the end of my college career is in sight (only two more semesters after this one), I still feel like it won’t end soon enough. It especially won’t end soon enough because I’m planning on starting graduate school as soon as I get my bachelor’s.

This semester is extra stressful because most of the classes I’m taking are GE requirements—not major courses—therefore, they stink. I’m also working about 15 hours a week at Sandhills Publishing, so between work and school, I keep myself occupied to say the least.

New Articles

I've had several articles published now during my internship here at Sandhills Publishing. I have written for Smart Computing, PC Today, CE Lifestyles, and Computer Power User.

Be sure to check out the print version of these stories if you like them, available on most newsstands. Here are some of my articles that you can find online:

Super Busy

I have been so busy the past few days, weeks, months. I have not had a moment to spare. I hardly find time to sleep. I need to start going to bed earlier and get myself into a routine before my golf class starts on Monday.
Anywho, work is going well. I've had a few articles published now; my portfolio is getting fatter.

I'm in the market for a house. The lease in the apartment is up in a couple of months, so I'll need to find a place. There are a couple of places that are of interest, but everything in my price range needs a lot of work.

I havn't updated in a while. I'm working at Sandhills Publishing as an editorial intern. I copy edit and write articles for Smart Computing, PC Today, Computer Power User, CE Lifestyles, and Processor.
School is dragging on. It feels like it will never end. The plan as of right now is to finish this semester, then two more, and I should be done.

Beginning of the End...of the Semester

This is the start of the last week of classes. Next week is when we have finals, then I get to go home for Christmas break and get my tonsils removed!

One More Step...

I went for my interview at Sandhills Publishing yesterday. I think it went really well. I'll know within two weeks if they invite me back for another interview (that would be the third one: first a phone interview, then the human resources interview, then an editorial interview).
